Yeah, I'm disappointed Rove didn't get indicted. |
|
Because I wanted him to resign right away so he can start doing less damage.
BUT, I am still DANCING! WOOOHOOO!!!
People, just think back to after the 2004 election and how you felt them. Have we not come a long way? This disaster has finally spiralled out of their control and now we get to watch them come tumbling down. The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind exceeding small.
I have enough hope now I can start watching the news again. Yee ha!

9. You are correct SIR. And if Rove isn't indicted it's only because he's |
|
squealing on the rest of the cabal.

We'll be watching them get bad news, after bad news, after bad news, for months...
Right up to November '06!

6. There's a new grand jury |
|
Isn't there a new grand jury that will be there to listen to evidence about Rove? Or am I out of my mind?

He's testified 4 times - that is not a good indication - his 'I don't remember what I said' thing is only gonna last so long. He's evil, but I think they may have tripped him up in that testimony. May be wishful thinking on my part, but I think he's done for.
STICK A FORK IN HIM!

10. I would say this is a crushing blow. |
|
Clinton faced charges of perjury (for lying about a blow job), Boosh and Cheney face charges of treason (nothing cute about treason). Just remember how long they dragged Clinton around, the MSM will pull Boosh apart eventually. This is the actual crack in the dam. Real damage. Wait till DeLay gets jail time. Looks like Frist is looking at a court date.

I felt like it was a lost cause after that bullshit in 2004 and only 1 year later the walls are starting to crack. I usually think that things go the way the go for much bigger reasons and this is one of them. Sure they took the 2004 election, but maybe it was to be so they can get what has been coming to them.

13. Not a very important one? |

"...Libby has had extraordinary influence and access in all aspects of White House policy-making, particularly national security." http://www.courierpostonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051028/NEWS01/51028009/1004/LIVINGSounds pretty damn important to me.

You are respected around DU and people listen to what you have to say. I'm pleased that one is down and recognize that we're making progress.
However, I don't like how people around here have been pushing the "you're with us or against us" line just because some of us wanted more heads to roll. :eyes: Maybe some of us are sick of those in the WH getting away with crime after crime. Big crimes like Outing a spy, Lying about the Iraq War, Stealing the 04 Election, and Letting people in New Orleans Die (and not picking up their bodies once they were dead).
Yeah, I'm pleased that Fitz got one of the players but I want the rest in the worst kind of way. I won't be "happy" until they are ALL wearing stripes and behind bars. Yesterday, a few people took the time to explain to those of us that didn't "get it" that this is just the beginning. I hope and pray they are right, because I shudder to think what their next crime will be.

horizon. My hubby thinks what will really stir the sheeple will be their heating costs this winter.
We have no option but to keep these issues on the front burners by demanding coverage, letters to editors, talking to friends, leaving pinted material in conspicuous places and reminding our elected (choke, choke) leaders that they work for us!

Until people get hit in the pocketbook, they don't bother to read newspapers, watch news, bother to find out who's doing what to our country.
My problem with all this, is that the horrific damage the Republicans have caused to this country will have to be cleaned up by the Democrats (as always!!!), and it will not be possible for many years. As always, the sheeple will not understand that. Hell, they understand nothing.
