Just wanted to let you know that I'm really in charge now |
|
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&e=1&u=/nm/20031014/ts_nm/iraq_bush_dcIn case Bush had almost convinced you otherwise, damnit, it's really me who's in charge. I should have made it clearer and more demanding that it was me and not Bush in charge. So damnit, just get it right: Lynne - in charge, Bush - not in charge. Any questions?

thanks for the laugh. I was almost swayed into thinking that Bush might be in charge of something.
Okay, got it. Lynne - in charge. Bush - not in charge.
Just good to know the score.

5. Can anyone list their three favorite incidents. . . |
|
when a President felt the need to assert that they are, in fact, "in charge," and they truly have a "plan" and aren't winging it as they go? I'm not asking for the three Presidents who did this under the most adverse attacks, or even the three Presidents who did it most convincingly (or even least convincingly, if that's your approach) . . . I'd just like your three favorite incompetent executives? And if it's too hard to narrow your list to just three, why not just give me the name of ONE other President who ever showed their disconnect from the job so blatantly.
What a moran! What ever did we do to deserve this?

7. I was thinking the same thing. |

It shows our age, you know. Most of my students say, "Who's Al Haig???"
