The man behind the Spam letters - He's EVERYWHERE!! |
|
I usually take raimando with a grain of salt, but you have to see what he came up with on the Lt. Col who sent out all those fake letters from Iraq: http://www.antiwar.com/justin/justincol.html

2. I think he's onto something with this. I don't have time to Google to |
|
verify, and find Raimondo wierd, but this rant of his probably is exactly what's been going on.
Wonder if any other media or bloggers will pick up on this? Josh Marshall? Anyone?

3. If those searches are true |
|
then I am completely convinced that this guy didn't act on his own.
It sounds awfully tin-foil hattish, but I think this guy has something to do with Information warfare on an organized level. But then, again, its not hard to go tinfoil with this group in control.

4. This Col has been at the front of several propaganda... |

...attempts. I don't believe for a minute that he acted alone, coincidentally coinciding with the Bush admins positive propaganda push...

7. Just the logistics of sending the letters make you wonder |
|
This guy is in the field, but he not only gets the letter circulated to and signed by a bunch of soldiers but also efficiently sends them to each soldier's hometown newspaper? Either he had help planting the letters in the right places, or he doesn't have time to do any work other than looking up local newspapers' addresses and emailing them. Please. This bunch doesn't even lie well, though they do lie often.

6. Raimando is not as crazy as one might be led to believe |
|
He is smeared by the RW because he does, in fact, come up with many bits of information that are not shared with the public and his way of thinking about the info and the issues strikes too close to exposing the real enemies within. I especiall liked this line from your post:
"The same liars who piped lies into the White House and Congress have now redirected their efforts at the American people. Whether Caraccilo is part of that operation remains to be seen, but certainly, in the context of the larger unfolding scandal of how we got into this war in the first place, it is not an unreasonable suspicion."

WH operatives who even dress in fake fatiques as they tell the appropriate military mouthpiece what to say and when and how to say it. Courtesy of Tucker Eskew, who did aWol's South Carolina primary.

I couldn't remember the name of the operation that was referenced in Wilson's latest expose'. The "Office of Global Communications" would be exactly the kind of agency that would coordinate the Administration's message from abroad to homefront. This guy has to be a part of it.
