Iraq Elections -- When Will They Come? |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-18-03 03:36 PM by HFishbine
The recently passed UN resolution puts a deadline on the Iraqi "congress" coming up with a date for elections. When do you think they will be and do you think Bush will try to delay them until after Nov. 4, 2004?
I think the Bush administration has little interest in Iraqi elections before ours. The UN resolution abolishes US military authority in Iraq upon the completion of elections.
Does Bush benefit or suffer from elections in Iraq before ours?

Without that his credibility dwindles.
He loses his enabling cause.
Ironically, every serviceman or woman that perishes furthers his cause - up until the point that the American public breaks ranks.
Until the media does its job, the chances of that happening are slim at best.
Sad, but true.
