Billions of Iraqi funds just fell into a "black hole..." Whaaat? |
|
I saw this in LBN and I think it's important. This is very disturbing. Why is that there is no coverage of this in our press. Something is VERY wrong here. I am so tired of the lack of accountability with this adminstration. WHEN will we see some justice for all the lies and greed? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/3206841.stm

2. that's what makes the whole "support the troops" argument |
|
such a crock... the money has nothing to do with supporting the troops. The money is going to Haliburton, Bechtel, MCI, etc, while the troops are lefting wonting for body armour, clothing and food.

3. Cayman Island Accounts... |

...for all of ShrubCo.
Let's face it it's not that far of a stretch, considering that Bush himself has had some shady deals in the past. Luckily for him Poppy was in the right place to make sure that no investigation took place.
It's a good thing for Shrub and his cronies that the banking laws off shore are so strict.

4. but now they are messing with |
|
a country who is already very suspicious of our motives. The whole world is looking at us now and how we allocate those funds to help Iraq. From what I understand, this was the Iraqi people's money to begin with.
Where is the f****** accountability! I am so sick of these creeps getting away with this crap.

A spokeswoman for the CPA in Baghdad responded by saying that the authority was committed to "the highest standards of transparency and accountability" in its handling of Iraqi funds.
so what the hell happened to 4 billion out of 5 billion dollars?!
and the republicans in congress are determined to give up another $87 billion with 'no strings attached'?! with all too many democrats determined to help them?
this is plain surreal...
