Dem Candidates Debate Tonight (Sunday, 8PM ET) ... |
|
... on Fox "News" Channel. A lot has happened since the last one. Should be very interesting.

3. Remind Me Why FOX is the Venue? |
|
Is this the second time it's been sponsored by Fox?
An "into the belly of the beast" strategy?

I thought the last one ended up on the Fox Network rather than Fox "News" Channel. As to why Fox is showing the debate (sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus, I believe), I don't have a clue.

6. MSNBC/CNBC each got a debate, so that's two for NBC. |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-26-03 02:59 PM by VolcanoJen
CNBC (with the Wall Street Journal) hosted the September 25 Economic Issues Debate in New York City, and the upcoming November 24 Debate in Des Moines, IA will be hosted and covered by MSNBC (with WHO-TV).
So it looks like Fox got two, and NBC News got two, so far. I'd like to see more print media- and PBS-sponsored debates...

7. The Black Congressional members said it was |
|
strictly a business decision. Fox offered the best deal.

8. And Fox isn't sponsoring it, just "broadcasting" it. |
|
Anyone know who the moderator is? What is the focus of the debate?

10. Fox may not be sponsoring it |
|
but I'll bet they'll have their RW pundits out in force afterwards to take pot shots at all the candidates.
After the last Fox debate, I could only watch the post game festivities for about 5 minutes before I thought I would :puke:

11. I believe that the DNC |
|
is sponsoring this debate. C-Span schedule says they will re-broadcast it tomorrow, Monday, morning at 10:00 a.m.
