It's midnight -- where's Wolfowitz? |
|
Does anyone know where Wolfowitz is?
Odd, isn't it, that the second and third explosions after the Al Rashid attack were blacked out in the news?
And odd, isn't it, that we haven't heard anything about Wolfowitz leaving Iraq?
So what's going on?

3. CNN Just Now: Redcross Rep talking to reporter... |
|
in the background, 4 armed US soldiers walking towards the CNN reporter and you can see the soldiers surrounding the two women. That was pretty scary.

Paul Wolfowitz is at an 'undisclosed location' that would probably be in the basement of some military HQ in Baghdad. Or Kuwait. He's probably still in hysterical verbal diarrhea, babbling "We are absolutely not thinking about getting out of Iraq. It is absolutely not something me and Rummie and Condi are spending a lot of our time discussing and thinking about these days. It's just a coincidence that I keep on talking about it, raising the subject in the press, and freaking out over it. Oh, did I mention that when Nixon denied at length that he was resigning for the fourth time, all the smart people concluded that he was going to? Anyway,"(tape repeats)
In short, he's under Haldol. And yes, I think it would have been very instructive to him to have gotten some shards of glass blasted into his fleeing ass this morning.
Oh, as for the more recent explosions, the U.S. military is probably giving the networks minimal access so that the story won't boil over. And it has broken fairly late in today's news cycle, so the writing and video editing and such probably didn't get done in time for the late news.

Hiding in whichever hardened bunker the army uses as a command post would be a reasonable guess. Iraq would be radioactive by now if he had been killed.
