1. I saw this same group of "morans"
when I was last in DC. Marching up and down Penn Ave, supporting Bush, guns, war, death, hellfire, Jesus, etc. etc.

4. Outnumbered?
The largest anti-war rally in the nation's capital since President Bush announced the end of major combat operations in Iraq was greeted by an equally boisterous, if not as large numerically, group of the president's policy supporters.

snip

Antiwar groups expected a turnout of up to 30,000 people, while war supporters expected as many as 1,000

A THOUSAND MY ASS. What a bunch of losers.

5. What were the Guardian Angels doing there?
Were they there in some official capacity of support, were they just Guardian Angels who happen to support the cause, or were they there for security?

6. Curtis Sliwa
He was the "founder" of the Guardian Angels; he's a big-time Freeper and being groomed as a media shill.

If you are going to turn your country facist you need to have a group of paramilitary thugs willing to beat the stuffing out of people who dont agree with you.

10. What in the world can they be protesting?
The Republicans control the Presidency, both houses of Congress, the Supreme Court, and the media. Democrats wrote a blank check for the Republicans' pointless war, and we are about ready to send another $87 Billion. They have gotten huge tax cuts. Congress just passed a limitation on abortion. They have severely limited our civil liberties through their Patriot Act. They have moved Christian "Faith Based Initiatives" into the White House. What more do they want? Why do they need to protest?

11. Do you think any of them wonder about their gathering being only 30
people while the anti-war protesters being in the tens of thousands? Is there any thought process goes on there at all? I would think they would be too embarrassed to show up all. How do you think they justify the differences in numbers? I thought they always claim to be the large majority. What losers.

17. Only hate groups issue death threats, Freeps
But we've come to expect that from the yappy little dogs who like their killing done for ideology when they can't persuade any other way.

on the other hand, the contrast of the support shown for their way of thinking as compared to ours is heartening.
