1. I thought Dobbs had 'banned' Clark |
|
Didn't he claim Clark had a 'bias' and 'political agenda' when Clark was a guest 'expert' re: the leadup to Iraq?

2. OK, I'm confused by that poll question |
|
"Do you think there should be a federal law to protect your privacy?"
I thought that privacy was one of the rights of a citizen. I thought we already had a constitutional right to privacy.
Shouldn't the question be: Do you think there should be a federal law detailing reasons for abrogation of privacy?
That poll question is backwards and misleading.

7. The segment was absurdly short of course |
|
And General Clark's comments seemed truncated.
But I liked what he had to say, esp on "undocumented workers" (which Dobbs called illegal immigrants). I appreciate that Clark's showed concern for those already working here, and wanted to let them stay and become legal. He didn't show an inclination to beat up on the weakest members of society, which is what the Rethugs characteristically do.

Paraphrase:
Junior wanted to go into Iraq BEFORE Sept. 11th and they used WMD as excuse.
Dobbs asks about supposed advice he gave a Congressman about Iraq Resolution. Clark very succintly said LEVERAGE with UN inclusion.
Gave DETAILS about his economic plan. (my question: why didn't he do that last night in debate?)
Clark wants to register undocumented workers that are here and have a policy for making work visas
Dobbs- the Immigration Dept. calls them Illegal Aliens
Clark- Wide variety of ways to break laws... I'm talking about PEOPLE

the segment was heavily edited. If Clark had the opportunity to elaborate on anything, I think it was edited. Dobbs seemed to jump from topic to topic without giving Clark much chance to elaborate, also.
Perle got to yammer on in detail. He looked creepy.
