Has Junior ever worked for an hourly wage in his life? |
|
Just askin'...
Seriously, it might be a good tidbit to bring up in a debate. Has he ever--even when in school--worked for an hourly wage.
Also, how much money did the first tax cut save him in each of the tax years so far, and how much did the second? Personalizing like that can be very damning in ads; I seem to remember that the first tax cut alone was worth over $100,000 savings in the first year alone. How about Dick?
Learn a lesson from the Republicans: simplify, personalize and repeat brutally.

He has his flunkies do the actual work. I'll bet he doesn't even know where the Oval Office is, or if he does, he goes there so seldom that someone has to show him the way.

"Hourly wage"... HA! It's still funny!
I'd like to ask Bush what a gallon of milk costs. I'm sure the bastard has no fucking idea.

to ask in a debate format. It would be like when Old Man Bush didn't know the price of a quart of milk, or how supermarket price scanners worked.
A little bit of research could determine whether Junior ever actually did an honest day's work in his life. (After all, he MIGHT have done some trivial thing once, during summer vacation, or some such.) But if people looked into it, & saw that the answer is 'No,' this could really make for a brilliant stroke in a debate.
When Reagan gave his famous comeback to the age question in the 2nd debate in 1984, the election was determined then and there. A well-timed delivery of a point like this could be similarly potent.

11. If you'd ever worked for an hourly wage, you wouldn't try to kill overtime |
|
That might stick. So tell me, do you think $22.5K a year is such a big pile of money that your employer should be able to work you over 8 hours without time-and-a-half?
Have you ever gone out and gotten a job for yourself? Have you even started a business without exploiting family ties? By what stretch do you claim to understand what it's like with no safety net?

I read one of those Bush biographies that came out in '99 (I believe it was 'First Son') and I'm pretty sure it said he worked at Sears one summer. But that's about it. He's been living off daddy's money and connections ever since, and now we're the ones paying his salary.

16. Not only has the chimp never worked for an hourly wage, |
|
he's never even gone on an interview -- unless you want to call softball questions from fawning reporters who all agreed he "won" the debates against Gore -- a job interview. The asshole has, in fact, never worked an honest day in his life. Every "job" he's held has been arranged by daddy or his daddy's wealthy friends - including his present position which the corrupt Supreme Court fradulently awarded him.
If his name was George Smith and he actually had to earn a living on the basis of his skills and/or intellect, he'd be very familiar with the term "supersize."
