American sheep support Bush are same as Germans for Hitler
from bartcop.....

Subject:Liberal Media

I've been waiting and waiting to listen and view to Al Gore's commentary.
I heard a short sentence on TV that said in effect, Gore would be TV. as talk show host.
Where are they, i.e., Donahue, Gore, Huffington, Ivins, MMoore..?

None are heard. (Donahue was great, but alas, too liberal for the media advertisers?)
Result propaganda from the right-wing, it works, money, government marriage to military,
99% of "communication" are mirroring the Fascists in WW11. . Still waiting for a liberal voice....

Recently changed my voting registration from Independent to Democrat. Can't stomach what
has happened in this country in the last few years. I'm 75 years old. Obviously, would like to see
and hear at least ONE (Donahue was dropped) liberal voice before I leave the world to an apparent
bunch of sheep, who, like the German people supported Adolf.

Oh well...I do have Social Security so far.
Sincerely
Doris D

1. I agree with you Doris D
The American people NEED to see what a liberal media looks like, then they'll realize what a bill of good they have been sold. And why shouldn't liberal have a place to go and hear their concerns voiced. God knows the Conservatives have plenty of outlets.

2. What is that
old saying that America is going to hell in a hand basket? In this case it is a Bushbasket. My Mom lived through the depression and she says she believes this is worse than then. Perhaps this country is at the end of it's world dominance and someone has to be at the helm when it does and it seems like Bush may be called by his God to do so. The Bible that the repug right claim to follow teaches that "A house that is divided cannot stand" and this one one is leaning way over.

3. I hate the term sheep
Here is a hint: being arrogant and condasecning is not going to convince Americans to support your cause.

8. But Jesus was a shephard? Actually a BFEE plot?
John 10:26 "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave me, is greater than all; and no is able to pluck out of my Father's hand. 30 I and Father are one."

11. Telling Americans
that they are acting like "good little Germans" is probably the quickest way to lose their vote.

12. People are too lazy to listen to anything or anyone
What makes you think that people actually listen to liberals? I argued till I was blue in the face with people about the lies of Bush's oil war. I wasn't able to bring around a single person. People don't vote, watch the news or give a damn in general. I will continue to call people sheep for my own edification on this board as it is highly theraputic.

13. On this board
is one thing, and perfectly fine. But in publications for public consumption such as newspapers, magazines, etc... and in daily conversations, if we (meaning our side) starts referring to the American people as "sheep" or any variation of Good Little Germans, we will lose their vote faster than by any other means.

14. This ain't the time.......
......to worry about terminology.

Doris's point is valid........your country is in the sort of deep shit that kept your Grandparents awake at night weeping and/or sweating.

It appears that the 'average American' is too complacent to care.........sort of like a................sheep.

The Bush Admin seems to have figured that long ago....like sheep, scare 'em a bit and they'll flock together and follow the leader........no matter where he's leading them.

That should suggest something to you.

5. Well, after the other Austrian won in California,
I don't think we are going to have anything but policies taken from the pages of "Mein Kampf" for sometime to come unless we fight them sooner and not later. And from what I can see no one who can actually have an effect is doing anything.

10. Have to agree with what has been said here.
The Bush administration is the worst yet and I've been around since FDR administration. The 1930's depression will have been duck soup compared with what the future looks for the US unless we manage to get rid of Bushco and TRY to change things around which won't be easy to say the least. Jiacinto is right, Bush's arrogance and condescention is not helping his cause.
