BBC World News Reported: Freight Train Blown up in Iraq/Troop Supplies! |
|
Last night on PBS which carries BBC World News they reported that a freight train carrying supplies to US troops was blown up in Iraq and they showed pictures of the train wrecked and pictures of looters taking the supplies off the train.
I searched last night for news of this on BBC World's Website and found nothing. This morning I Googled and found nothing. Has this been scrubbed?
Did anyone else see this on BBC World News last night? Why no mention of this when they showed video of bombed train with looters running carrying boxes?

|
I saw the photo you're referring to. I could not find the story on the BBC web site, but here's the link on the Guardian article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,1280,-3328732,00.html

They were standing on top of the train throwing stuff off. One man displayed a medal in an open box.

4. I read about this yesterday |
|
don't know if it was widely reported on U.S. news though. Here's a paper from Washington State that's reporting it in today's edition: http://www.theolympian.com/home/news/20031031/frontpage/137608.shtml

6. Thanks for links! This means they were covering it up. Our tax dollars |

looted! This doesn't look good if Iraqi's are blowing up trains and stealing the soldiers supplies, and yes it was a scene in Lawrence of Arabia! Shrubby defintely didn't want this out, when the Senate/House just approved $87bn.
