1. ABC now talking about the Fire Warnings
Edited on Fri Oct-31-03 06:36 PM by Cush
Apparently, a chopper pilot saw the fire and told the People in charge to launch planes to to bomb it with water.....but no one did

3. CBS talking about FEMA
on how they ignored the requests from Davis and other officials in CA (both R's & D's)

Talking about the letter Davis sent to BUsh asking for money to take down the trees

They had the letter for 6 months but did nothing....they rejected the day the fire started.

Showing footage from June 5, a fire chief talking about what could happen due to the beetle problems

4. The same inaction that brought on 9/11.
Republicans budgetary consideration are based on one premise: "Just forget about it, and it will go away."

Pound that idea. They don't fix anything. They talk big, and then they ignore problems until they blow up in our faces.

6. Washington was too busy orchestrating a power grab via the recall
Too bad this is not what gets people's attention.
