It was a good chat, but Graham's appearance was relatively short. He had just made his senate speech on the 9/11 report and had been up for 20 hours straight.

The chatroom will be open 24/7 now, as I understand it, at the following link, for people to meet and talk. And chats with Senator Graham will occur frequently in the future.

13. I got a question in

Senator Graham, is there any hope that Americans will ever be able to see the FULL 9/11 Report? I live in Manhattan. If there was negligence on the part of this Administration with regard to its policy towards Saudi Arabia, I feel I have a right to know.


I believe that the American people have a right to the truth. I won't risk national security, but I won't withhold information to protect a foreign government or to protetct a US agency from further embarrassment. You have my word.

This should not be a partisan issue. It is an issue of government and its respect for the people of the United States, with the people being denied the opportunity to fully understand what their government did in terms of protecting those who lost their lives on 9/11 and protecting them today.

16. no, it was e-mailed

They said they didn't invite too many because it was the first time and they weren't sure how the software (new to them) would perform. So I prolly did no favors by advertizing it on DU. There were some difficulties getting into the chat the first half hour, then they got it fixed and Senator Graham came back to answer questions after his senate speech.

Dave Wallack said that in the next few weeks, there will be not only the chatroom, but some sort of blogging on the webpage and some other stuff. Graham will be appearing in chats--well, I can't remember exactly what he said about the scheduling, but "frequently" like maybe every week or so I think.

It WAS great to be able to chat with other Graham supporters! Saw not only Steph but GBD4 and other DU'ers! It sure makes a difference to be able to communicate real-time.

And of course Senator Graham was gracious and forthcoming (to the extent he could be given the security restrictions.) I think the next chat will be longer and allow more questions.

You know, if this chat room is going to be open 24/7, what's to stop us from scheduling our OWN Graham supporter get-togethers? Any interest?

This has REALLY lifted my spirits tonight to hear this. Graham is out there fighting for us, shouting from the rooftops and giving so many of us HOPE. And hope is mighty elusive these days.
