We have seen the true nature of the * gang--outright, ruthless assasins who only care about themselves and their eite friends. Iknew they were scum, but the level of their slimey ways have reach an all time low...
It brekas my heart to say this, but very soon, there is a very high chance of a larger group of Americans--be it Iraq, Afghanistan, wherever--will be killed and put on public display by whoever. And the vicious cycle will keep going until we cans end this rogue cobiy thugs back to Texas. Or better yet, to the Hague for their many, many crimes.

I understand your horror at these pictures and your fear that this may happen to some of our soldiers, but it has already happened. Arab news outlets have shown our dead, and one of the saddest examples I can think of is what happened to our dead in Somalia when they were stripped and dragged through the streets.
You're, though I think innocently, applying Western standards to this area of the world. This is the same mistake so many of our leaders, past & present, have made.

and have to agree about how we have been programmed in a different way over the last century, images of horror and war shattered people are rarely shown to the general public, unless they are faked by special effects and a thundering soundtrack. we can handle phony violence, but not the real thing. go figger. war is and has always been ugly, and some cultures are just less effected by such images as those shown yesterday. we are joining in with the dictators and warlords. we are losing our sense of protection. welcome to the shiny new 21st century.

3. Exposing yourself to death helps limit your fear of it. |
