When George W. Bush looks at me
through my TV, and is trying to make a very pertinent point, he smiles just a little, his brow becomes furrowed, and he raises one hand with his thumb and forefinger pinched, as though to be putting a very fine point on his nuanced oratory, and he nods his head as though to subconsciously tell me that what he is saying to me is quite true - bank on it, the obvious facts to the contrary are for suckers.

George W. Bush does not have a lot of patience, which is understandable because its not easy being president. But when George is talking to me I feel that he will be patient with me. He will break it down for me so that I can understand the perspective of the commander in chief. For that I am grateful.

I am sorry to report that I don't get it Mr. Bush....er...I mean Sir....no..no..Mr. President.

Sometimes I find that I can't seem to grasp the elusive points that you are expressing, but thank you for trying.

1. When he looks at me
I have a reflex reaction where my middle finger shoots up without warning. I have no control over it, although I have no desire to control it.

4. When he looks at me
I get the strange sensation of my mommy explaining the evils of the world and I'm only four years old. Maybe it's all the talk of "bad men" and "evildoers" and "they hate us for our freedom" and "make the pie higher"

6. That's right Canuckistanian

its why he smiles, just a little, to comfort you. See, he's identified the problem and he's taking care of it.

Everythings gonna be alright.

5. W is a dead ringer for Red Buttons circa 1960.
If you ever watch "The Longest Day", he's the soldier that is stuck on the side of a church in a parachute the whole movie.

He makes me feel sick... I seem to pick up his EVIL- ness... I get the same vibes from a lot of his compadres.... I also feel that I am wasting my time watching him since I will only be told lies.....

9. He's not really looking at you
He's looking at the furry stuffed bunny that Karl is holding above the camera.

11. There's a full-page close-up of * in the May issue of Vanity Fair
(Page 231) He's got a slight curl of the lip and his unibrow can be clearly seen, along with the hair in his ears.

There's another of Uncle Dickie He's not snarling, but there's a weird creepy clot-like thing in his eye as he peers at the reader through his glasses.
There are several other full-pagers – Rummy, Colin Powell, and a mean-looking Condi, warts and all – literally. She's got tiny wart things on her face.

Big article – The Path to War. I'm just starting it.It's really worth it to subscribe – $15.00 yearly, as I recall. The magazines are $4.50 each at the newsstand.

12. "When Liberace winks at me"
great song from my childhood. Anybody remember being winked at by Liberace? Made me feel a lot better than W looking at me.

18. Don't remember the song, but I remember Liberace winking
on his original TV show. He even had a photo of his mother on his piano and would smile and wink at her – and she'd wink back! Brother George played his violin and the maracas. Women loved him and his curly hair.
