:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

Oh, and we didn't need to spend half the game on the power play to do it.;)

I also get to see tomorrow's game in person! BWA HA HA!

So how did your teams do?

1. Where are the Canadians when you need them, eh?
*sigh*

Guess Californians would rather suffer under Ahhhhhnuld then pay any attention to hockey.

2. Tampa Bay 3-0 over the Isles
It wasn't even on TV here. Had to settle for the Avs and Stars. The Avs played a heck of a game.

3. Reminds me of the Blackhawks
Edited on Mon Apr-12-04 10:59 PM by chair094
I lived in Chicago until recently and management WOULD NOT allow any games to air on TV. (Well, maybe 3 or 5 in a season.):grr:

Which is why I became a Blues fan so quickly after I came to Missouri. How can you root for a team that you're not allowed to see?

Edit: my post count is now 666 heh heh heh

8. Guess I got
the scourge of the devil . They had plenty of games on during the season but I find it odd they don't during the playoffs.

6. Glad Tampa Bay won but also glad the Avs lost
I do NOT want them to get past the Stars. Hey you :hi:

I was switching between that game and the Flyers-Devils game. Philly blew it. :hi:

9. It's hard to watch two games at once isn't it.
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 12:05 AM by bubblesby2002
I was watching the Toronto and Ottawa game on CBC and then Colorado and Dallas on ESPN. I love Don Cherry so I always have to watch the CBC game if he's on.

And all I really care about is that the Canucks beat the Flames last night. When you're an addicted Canucklehead like me you have to take the playoffs one game at a time.:7

11. It is
Luckily ESPN and ESPN2 are right next to each other on my channel list. :) I'm surprised the Flames won any. But the Canucks will knock em out tomorrow ( I guess that would be tonight) :)

I actually liked Toronto til they got rid of Cujo.

13. I HATE the Leafs and am rooting for the Sens
but was beginning to like them until they got rid of Cujo, because I like Pat Quinn. I've been a Boston fan and a Canucks fan for a long time, but I could be convinced to root for the Lightning too. Especially knowing that they're your team. Too bad we couldn't watch a game together.:7 and have a beer:beer:

14. This is my favorite time for hockey too
They work their tails off now as opposed to the regular season. That would be fun to watch a game and have a beer with ya. Being 3500 miles away kinda sucks. Big time. I have a fireplace in my house too.

15. You know I can't think of anything nicer than
being in Florida, watching hockey, drinking beer, sitting in front of a fireplace with you. That would be very pleasant.:D O8)

16. Does make a nice mental picture doesn't it?
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 01:23 AM by camero
It cooled off to the mid 70s in the day and 50s at night this week. Not fireplace weather but close enough.

Likewise, I couldn't picture anything nicer either. :)

I never did like the Devils anyway.

Edit: That name reminds me too much of fundies.

12. The Devils are the cheap shot artists of hockey
Just MHO. I'd like to see the Flyers take em then the Lightening can have their way with the Flyers.

5. Go Sharks! And I live in SJ
Of course I was born and raised in Detroit and got my first pair of CCMs when I was six. But I go to the occasional Sharks game and they have a very robust set of fans. They know the game and fill the Shark Tank. I guess they all came from someplace else as well.

18. I love college hockey most of all-I'm a Wisconsin Badgers fan for life.
LET'S GO RED!
Lot's of great former Wisconsin players went pro, do the Blues still have Joseph as goalie? I really prefer the college form although in NHL I'm an Avalanche fan. It's the fastest team sport, and arguably, the most exciting to watch.

Hippiechick is a real hockey fan, btw. Where is she?
