I have predict that * is going to turn down his party's nomination tonight |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 11:01 AM by brainshrub
But then again, I also thought that * would lose in 2000.
Like most psychics, if I'm right I will brag about my ability to predict the future. If I'm wrong I will never mention this again.
I should start a 1-900 number.

This is his 12th press conference of his entire time in office. Unbelievable that he has been allowed to get away with such few appearances.
Obviously, the current crisis in Iraq has smoked him out of his hole, but all we will hear is to "stay the course", etc. The usual B.S.

Then you are a true psychic and I will split the lottery winnings 50/50 with you after you clue me in on the winning numbers. If you are wrong, well it's a nice thought that you had anyway.

5. I predict he will say a whole lotta nothing |
|
just keep rambling on the same sound bites we have heard over and over.
Or
If it is actually a news conference, someone will ask just the right question and he will get mad and storm away pouting. That would be something huh?

6. sounds like a bit of that LBJ vibe from the 60''s, eh |
|
for those of you who are two young to remember (actually I was only school age then), Lyndon Johnson turned down his party's nomination for a second term due to the problems with the Vietnam War. (I think I have that right.)

I always have to remind those who are younger than some of us... that a point of comparison provides interesting perspective to the current situation. (translation... don't tell me, I lived through the Reagan years and the Nixon years!)

2 differences: LBJ was really from Texas & LBJ had a conscience.

11. Hmmm. I remember being really surprised when LBJ |
|
came on the air and said those famous words. I was, ummm, how old was I? Like 20? Something like that. I had voted for Clean Gene the poet, and LBJ taking a beating in New Hampshire was what did it for him. But still, I remember feeling totally surprised. Maybe I was simply very politically unaware. Also young. (holy cow, I was young!).

Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 11:42 AM by soothsayer
this lady Elizabeth Joyce (I think that's her name) at wwww.new-visions.com
She says not only will shrub not run, but neither will Kerry! But...she predicts a Dem will win the election. I wonder who it will be?
On edit---just found out more---she sez Wesley Clark will win, with Hillary as VP.
dumbya won't step down until at least june (it will be health or security, why he can't run) but she sees him running in 2008.
