Anyone See The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake?

The original is one of my all time horror faves. Pure dread!

1. it was crap! changed the story, totally bunk.

there's no dinner scene, there's no one in a wheelchair, (edit: no victim in a chair. there is a totally changed grandpa in a wheelchair)
there's no house full of body parts and chicken parts,
there's all sorts of new pointless characters,
the atmosphere of the film is typical of the genre nowadays.

a shameful remake that could have and should have been done right.

this was not the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I guess I'll skip it. I was skeptical, but I figured 25 years from the original was permissible for a remake.

I was surprised. Fun movie, with some good scares

7. I actually liked it, although I was never a fan of the original.

I found the original too choppy (sorry about the pun) and boring at times.
The remake is not as gory, but makes good use of pacing, music, and suspense to create a more traditional horror flick.
