New Reality TV Show - Win A Baby (Yes, A Real Baby)
<snip>

FIVE couples desperate for a baby. A pregnant teenager looking to give hers away. Who will win?

Of course it's not the latest, apocalyptic sign that reality shows have shoved aside Jerry Springer as the primary source of moral decay in the US because, according to the ABC network, it is not a reality show.

Except that in every way it is.

In a naked pursuit of ratings, the network kicks off the May sweeps - an important ratings season on television - with a special on its 20/20 news magazine program today about 16-year-old unwed "Jessica's" decision about which couple most deserves her unborn baby.

The RWers are so against abortion and so against condoms and so against sex ed. They want an increase in adoptions. Now they are all coming out bashing Barbra Walters. Are they pissed because Americans are going to witness the true struggle and pain a teen-age girl makes when deciding to give up her baby? That is what they want isn't it?

I don't think this is right but for all of those RW critics out there, be careful what you wish for.

3. when I read "The RWers"
I initially thought you meant "The Real Worlders" and I was like, "they're against condoms??"

The first step to recovery is admitting that I have a Reality TV problem..

2. I saw this earlier
I can't believe it myself. Is this what we've come to.

How long till be have a "reality show" where contests that need a new heart compete to win one from a horrible car accident?

7. Jon Stewart commented on this last night.
He said it may look like Barbara Walters has had a face lift, but it's actually her face being pulled by g-forces as she plunges into the abyss.

I laughed fiendishly.
