Going to NYC the week of September 22nd... |
|
(I have an odd desire to see the "Cloisters" this time...last time it was Coney Island) :) So...where is the best used bookstore in Manhattan? Or are there any left....? Also looking for a good comic book store... Any off the books film happenings that week I should know about? :) All suggestions duly welcomed.

12th and Broadway.
Forbidden Planet is down around there somewhere too.
If you like old arthouse movies, check out the schedules for Walter Reade at Lincoln Center, the Thalia, Film Forum, the Angelika.

Great store. I picked up The Hunting Of The President on Saturday (Hardcover) for half price.
And Forbidden Planet (one of the best/biggest comic book stores in the city) is literally on the next corner.
