12. Wanna Say "Waterworld"... |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 08:40 PM by Bark Bark Bark
...but never saw "Postman."
Still, I think "Postie" would be hard-pressed to beat "Water," in which Kevin--our hero, mind you--threatens to drown a little girl because she used his crayon.
Oh, and that straight-out-of-a-Looney-Tunes-cartoon climax with Kev bungee-cording out of danger as three pursuing vehicles all simultaneously converge on the same point--without even flinching. (Easily more ridiculous than Malkovich's fate in "Con Air," and that was pure Wile E. Coyote.)
More important question: which movie/TV spot best showcased Mel Gibson's burgeoning psychosis? "The Patriot," "We Were Soldiers," his barking attack on Prop 71, or that "South Park" episode where he defecates on Cartman?

3. The Postman is definitely worst. |
|
But, then again, it is Kevin Costner. That's like saying "Which is worse: Decapitation or Disembowelment?"

5. Field of Dreams: vastly overrated |
|
Costner has made a spectacular career for someone with so little talent. How is this man still finding work? Val Kilmer still edges him out for top honors in this catagory, however.

He didn't want to wear tights, so he had this weird sacky looky ensemble... nobody could decide where Nottingham was, as all of their accents sucked...it's like they added "young heartthrob role" just to appeal to young folks...
The best thing about that film was Alan Rickman. Oh, and Sean Connery showing up and being King Richard. That was neat.

|
He's been involved in or made happen, two of the more important movies in the last 20 years. At least mainstream\controversial political movies:
JFK and Dances with Wolves
Many greater actors have done far far less!!!

That movie was so far off the historical version, and he was the only one without an accent.
That was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
