These are our two girls. The first one is a Tortie with Tortietude. She's 2 years old! We got her at a local shelter. Her name is Zoe, and she's CUTE!

The second is a Siamese/Tabby mix. I found her at a house I was working on. She was half ferel, and is still independent, but she loves to hang around us all the time. Her name is Sascha. Of course, she's CUTE, TOO!

they are big cats breed orignated in California in the 60's and the cats are called ragdolls because they flop in your arms
average weight is 15-20 pounds and they all have blue eyes
they are very social and loving

8. Maine Coon

they are big like my girls ....how much does he weigh??

10. He has some Maine Coon in him, but he's much smaller.

He is a year old, and goes maybe 7 lbs. He was adopted from the Humane Shelter.
He hates it when I go hunting with him. He gives me a disgusted look like' "Man, You are sooo slow you couldn't EVER catch ANYTHING!"





He used to live on a houseboat, but recently had to move into an apartment (me too), and HATES it. This is how he looks today.

11. The second cat (sasha) is a ringer for my cat!!!!!

Looks almost exactly the same as mine. Ears are a little bigger on yours, and more of an angular face, but other than that they could be twins.
My cat was a stray too, but she had been abandoned. She is a real cutie, and sweet as honey. Kind of shy but she adores me.

13. Is yours a Tabby/Siamese mix too?

Sascha is, but she's got all the Siamese characteristics. She talks, talks, talks, talks, and talks. She walks beside us like a trained dog. Tells us where to go, where we can sit, where we need to sit, and instructs us on what to do all of the time. She has none of the tabby characteristics, other than the gray coloration. She's neat.

They're bassets, so there's no danger!



The neighbors cat screws with them on a daily basis- sitting right by the fence in the morning when we let them out and meowing....

Then the barking/growling starts, then my kiddos try to act all sly, like she isn't there, and then BOOM they run right for her.

The only time one of them ever got close, she got a teensy little scar to remind her of her folly. The cat's owner loves the show so much, she buys toys for our dogs!

One of these days I'll have to scan some of my cat pix so I can show off my Riley (the Alpha male that doesn't realize he got neutered) and his concubine Maya (who sits there and takes it until she's had enough, then she swipes at his nose and runs away).

They sure do add entertainment value...and lots of love! :)
