Thank goodness we don't have to see his lecherous mug any more! WASHINGTON - The government ordered Pfizer Inc. to yank cheeky television ads that promised better sex for men taking Viagra because they failed to disclose known risks associated with the drug, according to a letter released on Monday. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=519&e=1&u=/ap/20041115/ap_on_re_us/pfizer_viagra_advertising_2

If we can get rid of the shampoo orgasm commercial and the "all about the "O", we'll be in good shape.

7. I wrote clairol about that when it first came out ... |
|
... the first one, if anyone remembers, is a woman in a beauty salon, in the styling chair, getting 'done' by 3 big hunky dudes ... the subtext was totally obscene !

3. What about Smiling Bob? |
|
Mr. Wild Thing was at least funny the first time, not like the Adventures of Smiling Bob and his wife Plastic Face.

I really wish there would have been a companion ad by Planned Parenthood or some similar group: 'Now that he's got his weenie back, ladies ... you're going to be dealing with STD's, birth control, or morning sickness well into your 70's !! And if you won't give him any, he'll go find some 25 year old who will !! Aren't you pleased ?'

Sorry mate! Yeah, in any case it is real.
"Remember that guy who used to be called 'Wild Thing?'" the ads say as a middle-aged couple shop, looking in the window of a lingerie store. "The guy who wanted to spend the entire honeymoon indoors?" Later, blue horns sprout from the frisky man's head with "He's back" written on his forehead. The horns morph into the letter "V" of Viagra.
"The TV ads claim that Viagra will provide a return to a previous level of sexual desire and activity," Smith wrote to Robert B. Clark, a Pfizer vice president. "FDA is not aware of substantial evidence or substantial clinical experience demonstrating this benefit for patients who take Viagra," Smith wrote.
Pfizer has already removed the TV ad clip from its Web site, and is "in the process" of pulling the TV ads, said spokesman Daniel Watts.
