But they don't have Amoroso's rolls outside of Phila, and it's all about the roll.

But I can personally vouch for the miraculous desert hoagies of Tucson. Maybe it's a store run by Philly transplants?

For a cold hoagie, my fave is Koch's Jewish Deli, on 43rd and Chestnut. You'll wait in line, but it's worth it. Also, they feed you cheese slices and pickles while you wait. :)

Growing up not far from Pottsville, we used to call that stuff "ratpiss."

Now it's sold as some sort of exquisite gourmet beer.

Break me up.

68. Not quite "exquisite gourmet."
It's relatively new to the NC market, and it's inexpensive. And what can I say? I'm a lager drinker. Yuengling became my "poor man's Heineken" the first time I tasted it.

There are places in this country, though, where Yuengling Black and Tan is sold at ridiculous prices in very precious gourmet shops.

It's the water in Schuylkill County that makes the taste.
