Would you buy a Birthday Cake from Baskin Robbins?
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 11:52 PM by GingerSnaps
It would save on purchasing the ice cream separately wouldn't it?

I was thinking about buying a cake at Stone Cold Creamery and getting a chocolate cake with pumpkin ice cream inside :9

2. The latter are really expensive-- $20 for a tiny thing
(It's actually Cold Stone Creamery, but I like your way much better!)

Baskin-Robbins made really crappy ice cream back in the day. It's possible they've improved, of course, but I'd have to bet against. The Cold Stone one went over really well. I'm not sure they have a pumpkin ice cream one nor if they'll make special orders, but my buddy had a pumpkin ice cream there the other day and really enjoyed it.

5. Your right
I am thinking of the song Stone Cold by Rainbow.

I have one thing against Cold Stone Creamery. They will not let an adult buy a child size ice cream unless you have a kid with you. Their ice cream is so good and rich that a little goes a long way.

I pass one several times a week and I have to stop myself from going in and indulging. Each time I pass it I stop and think should I or shouldn't I.

I like their Italian ice and on rare occasions they have lemon ice cream.

6. I did once for a birthday party. Very successful!
The kids loved it. Sure beats dredging up rock-hard ice cream and watching it melt off the plate. Go for it!

7. It's been a few years since I've bought a ice cream cake from BR, but it
was pretty good--I actually bought a few.

8. Yes - just got one in August for my birthday.

Huge childhood memories for me - I had a few BR cakes spread out through my childhood years for birthdays.
