Why is my cd peeling apart? |
|
I just took a cd-r out of car cd player, and saw a little speck on it.. i tried to rub it off, thinking it was dirt, and the whole top layer of the cd started peeling apart.. i can see through it now.. I just made this disc a couple days ago... do blank media get brittle when they're old or something, cause I have had them for a while..

Go to www.amazon.com and look at the customer reviews for blank cds and you'll find there are several brands out there that peel.

2. I've had this pile of them for a year though, and they're worked fine |

Never happened to one before.. could there be something pointy in the player that poked it? Well, i guess there could be, how would you know..
