I've never been there, but some of my books and papers are archived in the Alice G. Brilmayer collection at the Popular Culture Library. It's the only academic library in the country that takes romance novels seriously.

All fine towns. West side of Saginaw here (my family has owned this house since 1952 and lived in it continually since 1961). John Which is to say just before I started kindergarten. I'll be 47 in two weeks.
