I DIDN'T flake out after all, for those of you who offered your sympathy last night when I was in complete procrastination/self doubt vegetation mode.
Whoohoo. I had to wing it a bit, but it went really well and I got good feedback. Think I'll have a beer. Thanks to you all who encouraged me to bite the bullet and not call in with a lame car trouble excuse.

Read your post last night and really tried to think of a solution but couldn't come up with anything.
All I really had to offer was that if you did call in with the car excuse - the next thing you know - you really do have a car problem - like karma or something.
Believe me - that has been my experience.
Glad it went well.
