Have you ever been sexually assaulted? What did you do? |
|
Arnie expects women to laugh it off when he assaults them. He's having fun. He doesn't give a damn about the woman.
I didn't laugh it off when it had happened to me. I bit down hard, very hard, on the guy's tongue. He'll never forget it.

I didn't resist. I was afraid he'd do worse to me. I let him do it and let him leave. It took me years to get over it. But I'm fine now.

2. It was no laughing matter |
|
...I felt horrible for years and no mere apology from the attacker would make me feel better.

3. It is not something you "just get over". |
|
And if it is someone you know, liked and/or respected it is even worse because you feel like you cannot even trust your own instincts.

5. It is not a laughing matter Arnold. |
|
Never was and never will be. This hang dog, "I was a bad boy" shit will not cut it. I did not care much for or against Arnold until now. Now I am really pissed. I felt lucky to be on the outside of all of this (but I do know what it means for all of us) and now I feel very sucked in. Nasty prick. I was shut into a freezer at a job because I would not put out and fought hard. It was my first and last day on that job. I never even went in to collect the pay for that day because I had to collect the check from HIM! At almost 50 years old there are too many stories to recount, most of them fairly small but never harmless.

6. Fought like a she-devil |
|
Woke up with a stranger on the bed at 2:00 a.m. Told this street guy I would die before he "had his way." I fought him, but he was winning. God gave me a brilliant thought: "Yell out your neighbor's name--maybe he will hear you." When I started doing that, the attacker got up and left. Later, the police said that this was one of the smartest things I could have done. There was a likelihood that the attacker thought someone was in the house he didn't know about.
After that, I bought two guns and a mean dog. I prayed that the attacker would try it again, so I could shoot the son of a bitch and sleep a lot better.

I'd rather not talk about the more severe case. I still have anxiety when I am around large groups of men. The less severe case, I gave the guy a black eye. I was only 15 and a rather nerdy, quiet type at the time. He was really suprised. Despite his actions, I was almost afraid that I would get in trouble for this incident since it happned on a school bus coming back from an extracurricular activity. My friends were happy for me and he never hurt anyone at school again. I don't have nightmares over that one.

We had a pig like Ahnold at one of my old jobs, a retail store. He was a customer that would come in and constantly harass the female salespeople. One time he groped me while I was tagging some sale merchandise. I kneed him in the nuts and screamed for security. He did a perp walk out of the store as the cops led him out in handcuffs.
Even though it lasted maybe all of 5 seconds, I can't tell you how violated I felt. I'm a rape survivor, and that one act brought back all kinds of feelings I thought I'd worked out. Later on I talked to some of the other women this pervert harassed, and they all felt the same way. Nobody "laughed it off". Whenever I hear this "boys will be boys" horseshit, especially on DU where the men are supposed to know better, I want to scream bloody murder. This pig should be behind bars, not in a governor's mansion.

10. I was, back in high school |

Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 04:01 PM by Padraig18
I fought like a trapped animal (which I was), and I left one attacker with a broken jaw and considerably fewer teeth and the other with a broken foot, badly swollen testicles and a couple of missing teeth!
On edit: They were going to 'teach me a lesson' because I'm gay. They should have picked someone who wasn't 6'2", 165# and who knew how to box AND 'street fight'. :eyes:

11. Those 6 women should sue Ahhnold the pig... |
|
He has admitted his crime, and physical sexual abuse is a crime. When a man acts like a pig sometimes, he's really a pig all the time. More women should come because there must be lots of other women Ahhnold has sexually assulted.
