so I am wondering, knowing that there is a movement happening in the east, is there anyone in the Seattle area with a big mouth and a brian to go with it that needs a like minded producer to go after a glut in the market?
I'm serious...if it's laid out right to the right person and advertisers, it can not only make money for a station but the most important thing is, make a difference!

5. Here's the thing in Seattle.....

not only do we have KKKVI with Hannity, local John Carlson, newly aquired Rusty Humphries, Larry Elder and Drudge, but we now have KTTH with the Drugs Limbaugh Show now, Savage and other fright wing shriekers.
So in my opinion, not only do we need Malloy etc syndicated, but we also need some local talent/content to address local issues that can trickle up to D.C.

6. I think it's a different dynamic with liberals...

I don't think we are as empty headed and base as dittos. They have a "sport" mentality and see things in a very narrow context. They tend towards pack mentality, like wolf packs. They like being fed what to think. I'd LIKE to think a liberal could rise to drug addicted-hypocrite-liar Limbaugh's stature. But honestly, I don't know if that's realistic.

It's a carnival of hate and hypocrisy that the "ditto's" feed on.

so why can't we raise the discourse, but do it in a way that doesn't come across as "uppity" as so many claim liberals to be.
I am not talking about a screamer or a shit disturber, but one that can simplify an issue and get calls on it. Teach people to think critically for themselves, but guide....knwo what I mean?

10. yes we do need it

we are just talking to ourselves here. we liberals need to get our messages out on the airwaves 24/7 just like the conservatives. that's the only way at this time to counter the right's constant attacks on us and liberal ideas.

Now i know that Rhandi Rhodes who is a great radio host is looking to get into syndication. i think it is going to happen for her. if you have never heard her before i will tell you she is fantastic.

anshell media is working on (I think) buying some low wattage am stations to begin airing regular liberal shows. Al Franken and Jeanene Garofolo are expected to do shows for them.

but everyone does have some kind of radio, and really..it is free.
