Anyone hear who won the Nobel Peace prize yet? |
|
There appear to be a couple of nominees, and it should be getting close to announcement time.

5. Well, I believe bush and blair were nominated........ |
|
I sure hope the petition with 10s of 1000s of signers decrying their nominations got to the committee. (It was on that petition site...forget the name).
Of course, if in the same week that israel bombs syria preemptively, arnold/BFEE steals calif, and the kurds warn of war against the turks, if Bush and/or Blair get the PEACE prize, I will know that I have been in a coma for 3 years, and that maybe when I come out of it the world will actually be a pleasant, safe and decent place where a person should have hope.
