All you poor fools with television... |
|
Are you ready for all Michael all the time? I catch only occasional doses from radio, but I can imagine what it's like by now.
Do you want to turn it off yet? Is it getting under your skin? There is peace to be had, my friends. You just take that cord in the back of your teevee and yank it out of the fucking wall. It really *IS* that easy.
Imagine having to do something other than stare at box for hours untold.

1. It's off....and I don't think too many DU'ers here are into Michael |
|
Jackson. ...Least not from what I've seen reading here. But thanks for the warning.

6. I think just like some people can't drink alcohol without being |
|
an alcoholic, some people can't watch TV without becoming addicted to it.
Then they have to preach to the rest of us who know perfectly well how to moderate tv use.

3. I have a TV and I don't watch it all the time. Sorry you had trouble. |
|
I watch CSPAN sometimes, and sometimes PBS, Jon Stewart's show, the Independent Film Channel and sometimes the Sundance Channel if a good flick is on.
I check in with the Weather channel and the local news occasionally, if there is something in particular I want to see.
So far I've seen little of the Michael Jackson trial.
I guess some people just can't be trusted with the proper use of a TV and I understand if you have to take yourself off it altogether.

4. They don't show too much Michael Jackson |
|
..on Noggin. Mostly Dora and Oswald and Blues Clues. And 64 Zoo Lane. Now that's a fun little show...

5. the whole thing just makes my skin crawl |
|
MICHAEL makes my skin crawl whether or not he is guilty. The talking whores drooling over the story make my skin crawl. The entire state of our MSM, who would deem such a tawdry affair worthy of investigative journalism, makes my f***ing skin CRAWL. :puke:
Disgusting.

7. Believe it or not, there's very little on about Jackson. |
|
I have my TV on all the time, and my Liberal radio program on the internet on all the time too. I briefly heard something about opening arguments today, but it was a short blip. Guess things haven't gotten very interesting yet.

11. Yeah, esp. since the radio is full of such good stuff. /sarcasm |
|
I think everyone has to make sure that whatever they watch or listen to is worthwhile.
Bad radio content (and there is PLENTY of it) is no more worthy than bad tv content.
