Who here has the ability to hear and talk to spirits in some manner |
|
or the other?
Not me, but my wife does. I kept it to myself for awhile, but I doubted her less when I found folks who I wouldn't have suspected prone to communication with the dead had experienced their own contact of some sort with someone in the hereafter. My wife believes she hears 'voices' of family members as well as communication from some of our country's first inhabitants and their ancestors and offspring, at will. Not extremely reliable info though, but always some interesting insight.
I don't hear a thing 'cept my own boring, droning voice . . . how about it?

then you'll be blind and the dizziness won't matter as much!
| | | | _____________________________________________________________________ disclaimer: don't be a fucking jackass and actually drink wood alcohol based on this recommendation, it's a poison and will make you go blind, at the best. And then you'll have to explain to your mom that either you were stupid enough to drink this crap, or that you spent too much time spanking the ol' monkey.

2. I have a friend that does |
|
He is pretty "dead on" a lot of the times. I have had people tell me that there was no way in hell that someone would have known the stuff this guy tells them. He also helps in missing person cases. The accuracy is just way too high to be guesses.

coincidence? maybe. Too many folks, serious folks, have told me of their own contacts. Dreams seem to be less reliable though, to the point of complete disbelief on my part.

13. I have seen this guy tell strangers.. |
|
About things that happened to them with a lot of detail. For example "Remember when you were with your grandfather at the park and you fell off your bike. He cleaned your scrape with a hankie from his pocket and then you went and he got you a hotdog". Things like that. I know a lot of people on here dismiss this stuff, but if you don't have an open mind, and never get a chance to experience it..you will always be a skeptic. I have seen this guy do this, and I have seen other things. I never tell a person they have to believe in it. I "snicker" at the non-believers as they do to me.

17. I tend to believe that there must be other forms of awareness |
|
other than the ones that involve our primary senses. After all, animals see and hear in completely different ways than do humans, as well as other animals. Plants communicate, etc.
But the question remains, where are these folks that are harking to us from beyond? Where do these images originate?
Maybe psychic abilities are separate from standard communications with beyonders. Unless there is a contact that is 'channeled'.

Chances are you have heard someone from "beyond" but didn't pay attention. The communication isn't like a analog sound, it is more of a mechanical sound and very low.

9. I'm Getting a "J" Name |
|
You know someone who is alive or maybe someone who has crossed over whose name starts with a "J"... Maybe a Jason or a John or a Joan? Jim? James? Jerry? Jessica? Jack? Jeff? Josh? Jennifer? They're showing me someone who has crossed over... something like a heart attack or a stroke... maybe cancer or a car accident. It happened very suddenly or maybe not.
They want you to know they are at peace.

She wants you to know that the slow and painful torture was slow and painful, yet it is over now and she is at peace. I am seeing her seventeen-year-old blonde Episcopalian self showing me a puppy. And a guppy.
She has a very special message for you. She says beware of gypsies. And that she wants you to go on and live your life with happiness.

Jennifer visited a local psychic. In a dark and hazy room, peering into a crystal ball, the mystic delivered grave news: "There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just be blunt - prepare yourself to be a widow. Your husband will die a violent and horrible death this year." Visibly shaken, Jennifer stared at the woman's lined face, then at the single flickering candle, then down at her hands. She took a few deep breaths to compose herself. She simply had to know. She met the fortune teller's gaze, steadied her voice, and asked: "Will I be acquitted?"

i really don't think she is communicating with dead people. sounds like a very vibrant and active imagination though . . .
it could be that she misses these people? in that way, it probably can be constructive to harbor a delusion like that. at least therapeutic.

but i have this strange propensity to live in reality and not in an imagination-inspired demon/angel/spirit filled world.
if i understand you correctly, i think you are alluding to the notion of having "an open mind."
i would counter, yes, do have an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.
and no, life is not easy, it is filled with challenges. but when i can't explain something, or if i don't know something, i think it is a hell of a lot easier to ascribe causes/conditions/what have you to some mysterious supernaturality rather than try to determine what something REALLY is.

30. on my mom's side, the women have odd abilities. |
|
My great aunt could touch you and make things, small ones disappear. She touched my mom's hand when she was a child, touching a wart there. Mom said it got really hot and a few days later the wart was gone.
All of the women, to varying degrees can judge people to a tee. You can look at someone and decide what type they are and whether you could be around them. They were never ever wrong. SOme of us have that to a lesser degree.
