I just hope justice will be done. I have no idea what really happened. Michael's weird, but last i knew we don't lock up people for being weird. If he's harmed a child however, may he get the sentence he deserves. I only wish Michael would have taken the money he spent on his face, and spent it on a good shrink.

What is troubling about the media is that they want these celebrity trials tried on their networks and not in the courts.
Kobe Bryant, the Jackson trial, etc. Media circuses. Ratings bonanzas. Not really healthy to try someone by media. Doesn't help the defense or the prosecution.

32. Very angry about Padilla and other "enemy combatants" -- |
|
-- imprisoned without charge or representation.
The courts have now ruled that Bush cannot continue this pre-Magna Carta attitude.
Even with an appeal, his armor is dented on this issue.
I don't know the inside scoop on Padilla, but Bush/Ashcroft's decision to hold him without charge or representation is, in my opinion, criminal tyranny.

45. My personal opinion on Jose |
|
...is that he is a crazy, manipulated, stupid, perhaps foolish, fucker, and probably guilty. But I cannot get behind the "rush to faux justice" that they are pushing on this kid. Makes us look like one of those rogue nations in Africa, with an Idi Amin-type leader, who just figures that everyone is guilty, kill 'em all if they get rounded up.
Even if they had initially bailed him out with a LOJACK on his ankle, and had a bunch of spooks tailing him and surveilling him, I would feel better about it. But locking him up and denying him basic, essential, AMERICAN representation is just fucking stupid. Makes us look like thugs. You'd think if our country was gonna be evil, we'd at least be halfway good, and halfway SNEAKY, about it. This is just inept thuggery. Makes us look SO BAD in the eyes of the rest of the world....

And just these last two days we're lecturing Venezuela and Syria and Egypt etc. about rights abuses.
We've got to get our own house in order first. As the t-shirt says, "People who live in grass huts shouldn't throw lawn mowers."

And sleeping with them for that matter.
This is the same guy that was dangling a baby over a balcony. He clearly has no regard for children. If he's getting them drunk and holding them over balconies, that alone is grounds for imprisonment.
It's not hard to believe that he molested them after what he has ADMITTED to.

Giving them liquor and dangling them over a balcony where any second they could fall to their death and splatter their infant brains on the concrete below would be enough for me to personally kill the person who was doing it.

49. Just follow the logic |
|
He's against the death penalty, but wants MJ put to death for molesting children. He has no proof that MJ molested children, but he admitted to giving them alcohol. He has no proof that MJ admitted to giving children alcohol, but he slept with children. Now then, now then, he dangled his kid over a balcony, and that is enough to kill MJ, but apparently only if it was Johnny's own kid.
Makes sense to me!

You're beginning to see the pattern. Obviously he is a danger to children. What if his hand slipped, and that child fell to the concrete and splattered its brains all over? What if he decides to do that again? This guy has kids half my age sleeping over. Why would someone...ahhh forget it. You wouldn't spot a child molester if one smacked you in the face.

Sadly enough, many people aren't tuned in to these things. And they don't care to make judgements uopn people's behavior because it is the "court's job." Well, if it comes to someone molesting my child (or any child I care about, for that matter), you better believe I'm not waiting for any fucking court. And you better belive I'm taking the judgement in my own hands. Even if it's endangering my child's life in any way (such as dangling it over the balcony) you better believe the person would be beaten within an inch of his life at BEST.

Well, we don't lock people up for being weird...but, this is not the first time he's been involved in something like this, now, is it? I'd say the circumstantial evidence is against him.
If he's innocent, then he's also stupid, to keep putting himself in a position where he could even get accused of shit like this.
And that is all I got to say about it.

First of all just because teenagers were at his house doesn't mean they were molested, Ive had teenagers at my house and somehow resisted the urge to molest them
And second, who are you to be judge and jury of him, it seems very presumptuous and judge mental to me.

39. I'm somebody who knows a hell of a lot about this and this guy |
|
is a real mess, particularly since he was on notice. I'm sick of wealthy people who think teens and younger are their toys. It is truly pathetic. If you get 10 experts with real long term experience in child abuse from a variety of credible sources, tell them the story, every single one of them will say the guy is dirty.
Who am I to judge? A free American...a citizen who believes that law enforcement needs to go after people who are hugely suspicious. The first case was settled in a way that prevented the police from acting. That law has changed. Now settlements don't save a perv's ass.
This shit happens at an alarming rate--30% of female teens and about 15% of male teens report sexual abuse in survey after survey -- that's unwanted sexual contact by someone five or more years older. Nice country huh. Enabled by Johnny Cochran logic when someone is charged with this filthy crime.
N.B. By your logic, because * hasn't been impeached, 'who are we to go after him...'
