Poll question: Women: do you prefer men with or without facial hair? |
|
Turning 35 recently (sigh...) has made me think that, just once, I should grow a beard to see what its like without grey, before it gets too late.
Women, I defer to your opinion

All guys are different, and some are great in each catagory you listed, and some are bad.

I hadn't thought of that. I guess it could be different for each person.
Maybe I should give it a try and see what happens.

2. Um... to be honest? It depends on the guy. |
|
Some guys look great with beards or moustaches, some look awful.
One thing I would recommend is don't go with a Van Dyke -- every other guy I see has one, and it's just not interesting anymore.
If I had to pick, I'd say 'beard', nicely trimmed and neat. That's one thing I can't get when I kiss girls, so the contrast is nice.
About the color? Dye is always an option, if your beard comes in gray.
The only facial hair I ever hated was the "stubble" beard. Chafed like hell...including some sensitive places.

I usually like a little bit o' facial hair, like a goatee or something, but not a full out beard.

6. I basically agree with what everyone has said, so far, |
|
So try it out and see how it looks on you. My husband was clean-shaven for many years. Then he decided to grow a beard w/moustache, and he looks sexy and terrific. It also added a few years to his face. But since he always has looked much younger than he was, that was a good thing. So if you want to look a little older, then go for it! And of course, the good thing about hair is, it can always be cut off or trimmed! And don't lament your age! 35 is still quite young, not even middle-aged, IMHO. I don't even feel too bad at 61! You have many, many good, productive and happy years ahead of you. Make the most of them! :hi:

9. Won't vote, but I like the grey in my beard and mustache. I've had |
|
grey since I was 21. Considering my brothers went bald at 25, I wouldn't complain even if I didn't like it.

It can look great, or cheesy. It must be well maintained.

12. Depends on whether I'm looking at it, or kissing it. |
|
I like to look at men with beards. But prefer kissing a smooth face. When I was young and foolish, the 'brush burn' wasn't such a big deal...but with the wisdom of years, I prefer less of a 'challenge.'
But if you've never had one...a beard that is, by all means go for it.

13. I think you should try it, if only to see how it looks on you. |
|
You can always shave it off, if you don't like it, or you could shave off the beard, and just try a mustache. Experiment! If I were a guy, that's what I'd do.:-)
