My son was chosen to "be on" Extreme Home makeovers. |

Not HIS house (darn!)..He's the head IT guy on the west coast, for the company that's installing all the fancy computer stuff .. Apparently they are heavily involved in the show (along with Weyerhauser, Sears, etc).. They are setting up this house with all the latest "connectivity".. Apparently the show called headquarters and asked who their best guy was, so they called my son :)..
Of course he's happy to do it, but he's so busy, it's also a pain..:)
I don't know when it airs yet, but maybe they'll accidentally show him on TV..:)
side note: Mr computer genius is/was always too busy to help Mom:cry:
Right now, my desktop is sitting in the living room covered up, awaiting his magic touch to see if he can manage to save any of my data before I use my extended warranty to have them replace the harddrive .. It's got my tax stuff for 5 years, so I'm even waiting to file taxes :9
It "died" LAST MAY !!!!

I don't watch the show that much but it seems to have done some great things for needy people. Does that show usually do work in California or has it expanded to other states much? I work with families that would benefit greatly from something like that.

Is he that annoying guy in the Sears' ads?? The one who SCREAMS instead of talking??
If that's him, maybe I should advise my son to bring earplugs :)
(I don't watch "reality" shows)

4. Drop the hard drive in the freezer for about an hour |
|
then put it back in the computer, and get your tax stuff off it.
It works wonders.
(DS1 is not responsible for damages revolving around this advice, but it can work wonders)
