The tracks are pretty good in my opinion. I really liked "A Better Version of Me". They may be tougher to market than something like Criminal, but recently one DJ got ahold of the album and the responses were favorable... There is a campaign going on called FreeFiona (www.freefiona.com) to get the new album released. They've had protests outside Sony and stuff like that.

3. There are real assholes running Sony Music these days.

Back in the day I was a lowly intern there, and Tommy Mottola rocked. Even winked at me once.

Andrew Lack and the current heads of the labels there seem like real pricks, and this Fiona thing is just another reason why.

Just surfed over there... I wonder if their acquisition of Tori Amos has anything to do with this... Hmm.

Talk about unmarketable. I love Tori, but most of her stuff's pretty out there for the mainstream... Beekeeper is even less "listenable" than the Fiona tracks I have.
