Why can't MLB be more like the NHL? |
|
No, I'm not referring to tonight's Yankee-Red Sox brouhaha.
At the end of every game, after checking, slashing, and generally beating the shit out of each other, both teams line up and are forced to congratulate each other on a good game, however begrudgingly.
You'd think the majors could pick up on a habit that I learned in fucking Little League. Bunch of overpaid primadonnas, all.

yeah, I'm with you. It's a classy thing to do. Sportsmanship is becoming a thing of the past. One of the reasons I love hockey is because they still have a modicum of respect for one another, at least when the horn blows and the game is over.
