10. Maybe it's because I lived thru grunge the first time |
|
That record came out when I was 23, and at the time it sounded like a rip-off of every half-assed band to come out of Seattle in the last two years. Hurl Jam meets Nirvana for an asskicking from Alice In Chains. Except these poseurs were from Hollywood and played hair metal before the grunge thang came along.
JMO, mind you.

3. Hey, it's not like he's listening to Weiland's 12 Bar Blues |
|
That one sucked more than anything that had ever sucked before...

A few of their songs kick ass, IMHO.

9. That's impressive by today's standards. |

Now, it seems that there is at least a two year gap if not more between albums. Audioslave's second album should be coming out this year. After a 3 year wait. Do you like Guns & Roses?

14. G'n'R had some truly great songs |
|
Too bad about the rampant drug problem - of course the same applies to Weiland, unfortunately. Guns & Roses saw me through more than one dark patch of my life. It's great to see Slash working again!

17. It wasn't the drugs that destroyed GnR though. |
|
Axl destroyed that band. A band that has been said to have the potential of being the next Led Zeppelin. Maybe they could have given us some really bitchin' tunes in the 90's if Axl wouldn't be such a prick.

And Velvet Revolver's pretty good too.
Scott W. and Slash.
Bet it would be a hell of a live show.
Core rocked.
