At what age did you get your AARP card, and for what reason? |

I got mine mailed to me on my 25th birthday.
I have no friggin' clue why.

I got one at 22. My dad & I have the same name and AARP was just one of many places to get us mixed up.

Still, although we have the same first and last names, he does not have a middle name. I do. And I'm 25 years younger. :P

My dad & I have the same first name, middle initial, and last name, but our middle names are different so I'm not a JR.
My credit reports ALWAYS show at least some of his stuff & I've been turned down for loans when they find things under my name that I didn't put in an application.
One bank did call me when the report showed I had a mortgage at age 12, others just denied the application.
Now I make sure I have both of our SSNs with me so they can weed out dad's stuff.
