I was just asked "What's that?" by a very young co-worker. |

She was pointing at my typewriter. :wtf:

Though no worse than my father being asked by one of his students, "Professor, when was World War II?" This in the early sixties.

changed the TV channel by turning a dial. Or changed the channel while closer than 5 feet from the TV, for that matter.

I still love my typewriter, but I can't use it.
Does anyone know where I can get a ribbon for a Smith-Corona electric typewriter circa 1984?
Wish I still had my grandmother's 1920s manual S-C.

20. try googling the model number |
|
or checking with the big office supply stores. They still carry typewriter supplies. :)
If you let me know the model number for the typewriter or the ribbon it takes I can probably find someplace that sells it, I'm a master shopper. :)

19. It's a strange joke. Kids still know what a rock is. |
|
Though few would know its advantages outside of violent ones.
Rocks are cool. They can be used to crack nuts open. Clothes can be beaten off of it. Moss grows on them and moss is delicious. Many rocks built on top of each other, glued into place with some sufficient natural substance can make a hut.
Lovely things, rocks.
