Jackson accuser's brother admits lying under oath
.
.
.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. — A 14-year-old boy who testified that Michael Jackson molested his brother acknowledged under cross-examination today that the pop star didn't show him a sex magazine that the prosecution had introduced into evidence. The witness also said he lied under oath in a separate civil lawsuit.

/snip/

Under further questioning by Mesereau, the boy also said he lied under oath in another case when he swore that his mother and father never fought and that his father never hit him.

"When you were asked if your dad ever hit you, you said `Never,' " said Mesereau. "Were you telling the truth?"

"No," said the boy, who is the only trial witness so far to testify that the molestation occurred.

So the kid was around 11 when this supposedly happened,

and is getting prompted with phoney evidence by the Crown? (article indicates that the "dirty" mag he "saw" was dated AFTER the alleged offence . .)

1. I would say...
That the case has just been thrown into a quiet chaos.

Thank you for assuming I'm "decent"!

But with all the hoopla and assumed guilt posts re MJ I've been reading here on DU,

I thot some enlightenment was in order

NO

I don't "follow" ANY of the MSM (Media Spin Machine) of the US

As you can see, this was in a very Canuk paper

and has that odd quirk of ours (reporting the unslanted truth) that gets us in so much doo-doo with ur *beloved* WH.

and right

nonsense indeed !!

There should be pictures and stories of the injured and murdered Iraqis in the MSM every day

IF THE MURRIKKKANS WANT THE TRUTH . . . :eyes:

right . .

'nuff said

(sigh)

4. Please, I ask you not to post this on LBN....
This is precisely the reason I won't watch MSM. I came here to get real news not fluff......

5. If someone is falsely imprisoned that is not 'fluff'
Yes it is a media circus but we are still talking about someone's liberty. I don't know what to make of Jackson other than he is a strange, strange duck, but he is being convicted in the court of public opinion...and it looks as though a lead witness has now been impeached!

8. Thanks for sharing this. I believe it is important news
when someone as high profile as Michael Jackson is being tried in the media and then we find out that one of the witnesses is lying. Notice that he admitted this under cross examination.

"Did someone tell you to lie in the J.C. Penney case?" the lawyer asked, referring to a lawsuit brought by the boy's mother against the retailer over an encounter with security guards.

"I don't remember," the boy said.

Asked to tell the jury why he lied, the boy said: "I don't remember. It was five years ago. I don't remember nothing."
