I Hate it When ______________.
Edited on Sat Mar-12-05 02:52 PM by Misunderestimator
For me: When almost every post in "My Posts" points to a locked thread. x(

(And recently added to the list: When I post a silly thread accidentally in GD.)

13. I hate it when
Edited on Sat Mar-12-05 02:56 PM by Bouncy Ball
I feel all restless inside and I think "I'll go to the bookstore and look around and that will make me happy" and I go to the bookstore and I wander around, but the vague sense of restlessness, of dissatisfaction, just won't leave me.

I hate it when you have all the ingredients for what should be a good time, but for some mysterious reason or reasons, it's not. I mean, a cranberry-orange muffin, a mug of hazelnut coffee, a good book and a sun-drenched dining room with a window seat looking out onto the most beautiful morning you've ever seen and a sweet puppy snoozing at your feet should be really trippy happy, right?

Vague strange little sneaky feelings......I hate them

15. Yo, man... that's some serious shit.
:)

I know what you mean though. Right now, it's a perfect, cloudless, warm day, I'm sitting out on my lanai by the swimming pool, but I'd rather be somewhere far, far from here. Of course, for me... it's being trapped for another few weeks before I move, so maybe not the same shit. :)

18. I don't know where you are, but it sounds as gorgeous as it is here.
I was out doing a bit of yardwork earlier (the neighbors died of SHOCK) and WOW, it's just damn beautiful. Big puffy white clouds, a nice cool breeze, but warm out.

My best friend said we'd hang today, do some knitting, some bullshitting, but her boyfriend called and now they are going to the zoo.

:-(

24. They are a new-ish couple, you know how that goes.
When I asked about later, she said they'd probably be rollin' in the hay (Teri Garr, "Young Frankenstein") all evening.

Le sigh.

It's always hard on the friends when there's a new love in the air.

Get to packing missy! You gotta move!!!

Surprisingly, I actually remember that song. It was even used in one of those bizarre Rick Dees novelty singles that were popular back in the mid-seventies.

my elbow cracks the top of a dresser.

I also hate it when I read a 1000 word column of pure Republican BS in the paper and I have to try to write a letter to the editor in about 200 words to refute it, and it takes alot more words to refute a lie than it does to tell one.
Can they just print a Skittles type letter - "DONALD LAMBRO IS A FU$%ING LIAR AND I WOULD LIKE TO KICK HIS CRASS!!!"
Okay, I feel better, maybe I can write that LTTE now.

42. When a customer (I work in a call center)
makes some absolutely dumb or bigoted comment and I can't unload on the twit. Recently, I had someone make the suggestion that the public school system should be abolished so the property taxes would go down. Over the years, I've had to deal with ageists, sexists, racists, homophobes and name-droppers ("Well I know Assemblyman So and So...please tell the Governor when you see him...") and they say things I would genuinely love to respond to, and rather vehemently at that, but my job requires that I...don't.
