Anyone ever feel exploited? |
|
Edited on Sat Mar-12-05 03:58 PM by JohnKleeb
So I am the one who does all the computer work in the house by and large, I install the programs, I fix em, etc, not a computer tech but I know how the computer works best in the house. Anyhow so today my brother is home not out since hes grounded, and hes acting like the computer is all his and is a total jerk to me. It feels like I am exploited, I help him, I get him the best programs, iTunes, Limewire, et c. The thing that really bugs me is that he calls me things like bitch, pussy, etc when I freak out.

It takes a great deal of work to understand how a system works. And a great deal of trust to let a person administrate one's system. If he doesn't appreciate your work, tell him to do his own. Never take abusive words - even in the family there is a limit.
If you share a computer: set up your own OS in another partitition.

5. I sure as heck don't blame you... |

Perhaps if you remember how he makes you feel, the next time he needs your help, you'll have an easier time to tell him to f**k off (politely of course!). Time for you to walk away...IMHO.

9. Isn't he your younger brother? |
|
If he is, just make him do what you want. You're a big guy, you can get your way. Go for it!
