How can you tell a guy is going bald? |
|
By the shaved head.
I probably would do the same and hope my noggin was shaped good. Seems to be a solution rather than transplants and stuff.
I feel for you guys. Genetically I lucked out.

I've been shaving full time for about 4 years now and people who know me say I look better shaved than with hair.

I just think I would be very upset if I was going through it. Congrats on the excellent dome!

2. I shave my head 'cause of the gray. |
|
Went gray in my twenties and just decided to shave it off instead of listen to all the stupid fuckin' comments. Still got plenty of hair but being snow white headed in your early forties seems to get a lot of commentary from some folks.

6. What's to worry about? |
|
Bald happens. If a spouse or significant other can't deal with it and love you just the same because you're going bald - or already there - the relationship isn't worth having anyway.
I wonder what Madison Ave. is going to push next. People survived and procreated quite well without deodorant and breath fresheners for thousands of years for example.
Odor and appearance issues are a fairly recent phenomenon. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather smell clean than smell putrid, but not so very long ago, bathing in European countries - mostly central and northern - was limited to once or twice a year. They thought Muslims were damned for their obsession with daily bathing. Aside from hygenic needs, the rest is mostly advertising hype to sell products.
That being said; how many times have you wanted to slap the person next to you in a theater, casino, grocery store - wherever - who smelled as though they'd bathed in cologne?
(For those of you who overdo the scents, please think of those of us who have allergies to them.)
