I hate summer and I live in Florida |
|
If it was only semi difficult to find a decent job and place to a little further north, I would.
Everyone else is moving here in droves.
What is up with me?

2. Nothing wrong with hating a 10 month summer. |
|
I hated Fl too. When I moved back up north, I forgot how much I missed the sound of a breeze moving through the trees.

5. It seemed when I lived up north, the summers were hotter |
|
but not as damned long. I grew up near DC in MD, and was stationed at Ft Belvoir. The summer was about 10 degrees warmer, but seemed to last only 2 1/2 months or so.

I bet Indiana gets cold.
NC or Georgia would be nice.
I think Florida is hotter as a red state. It wasn't as hot under Clinton. :)

7. I'll trade you. I love summer. |
|
I'm getting pretty damn sick of seeing snow piled on street. It's okay for about a month, but when it's this close to spring it's almost unbearable. If not for work, school, family, housing, and just general inertia, I'd be out of here.

I'm exiled to Fl, too...until the kids are out of school. Then I'm gone like a shot! It well and truly sucks in FL for those who don't like heat and humidity.

I really notice that heat aggravates my mood, when it is cool or slightly warm, or even cold, I am great. When it gets hot I get bitchy, and I think other people get grumpy too.

But our "model" no child left behind education system has gone to shit.
I wonder how this hurricane season will be.

I have been in dry heat and humid heat. I think dry heat at 110 is about the same as humid heat at 90. They both really suck.

What's the point of living in Florida if you're going to live inland?
