Worst Sketch Comedy Show Ever |
|
Worst Sketch Comedy Show Ever My choice, Kelsey Grammer's Sketch Comedy Show.
It won't be hard to boycott this dog, with it's over use of canned laughter, unimaginative writing, wooden acting from the tall blond models he's banged, and from the guys, who are all shorter than he is. It's Kelsey Heaven, and viewer Hell. If Fox wants to put on it's funniest republicans, they should just use footage from C-Span, and put canned laughter to that.

2. That's exactly what I've been |

reading in all of the reviews. That surprises me, since he always seemed to have a good comedy sense.

4. It needs more of a Benny Hill touch, with Kelsey chasing the girls |
|
with a lear on his face, while the music plays. Wait, that's back stage!

7. When he's a passenger on someone else's train, yes. |
|
But it's unwise to let him drive the train himself...
if you take my meaning.

5. Remember that show, "The Downer Channel"? |
|
Was on NBC in 2001 I think. They only aired like 3 or 4 episodes before it was dropped. This new show looks a lot like it - I think it even has some of the same people. Except this new show is not as funny.

I feel sorry for that girl on the show, the one from Larry Sanders. She's a good actress.

8. You're joking, right? It is obviously 'Laugh-In' remade... but not bad. |
|
I'd say 60/25/15 - 50% good, 20% average and not funny, 30% bad.
MadTV is a tad worse. (40/30/30)
SNL has been dead for years; the final good episode being when Roseanne starred and they had the Brady Bunch vs Partridge Family skit (1991 or 92) (10/10/80)
Laugh-in died during season 3, but in its heydey (seasons 1 and 2) I'd give it (80/10/10)
In Living Color (season 1) was (85/15/00). Season 2 was just bad. (20/10/70) Season 3 was an improvement... (75/15/10)
The Edge (1 season) was pretty good but didn't get the reatings (70/20/10)

9. Tell me one of the jokes, or bits that you thought was funny? |
|
Was it the one where Kelsey's players were frustrating his recording of all The Leaves Are Brown, or was it something in the references to balls skit?
