Motherboy XXX
L-O-Fucking-L

Arrested Development is the funniest show on television and it just isn't even remotely close.

This weeks episode wasn't nearly as funny as last weeks doubleshot, but DAMN it was still terrific.

AD is the one of the best comedies on TV in years.

2. Doesn't it remind you of a sharper, more intellgent version of Soap?

Very similar I think.

I'm consistently amazed at how good the scripts are. And that cast, WOW.

David Cross is amazingly hilarious as Tobias.

8. Whaaaaa?

SOAP was cute. A very young Billy Crystal was in it, that old guy from "Empty Nest"....I think even Robert Guillame. I'm tempted to say his "Benson" character was spun off from SOAP.

5. I hate TV shows with a passion
but have been considering renting the first season DVD because I love David Cross ... is it worthy?

10. Highly worthy
It's nothing like anything else on TV.

David Cross is just flat-out amazing on it. Especially in the first season when he's struggling with being a "never-nude."

Jeffery Tambor is also great playing twin brothers.

You will die from laughter.

Thanks
I will check it out. I love good comedy, but usually expect the worst from Network TV so I never bothered to watch it.

6. When does it come on?! WHEN?
Edited on Mon Mar-14-05 05:40 PM by tjdee
I get so freaking mad at FOX for not even promoting its own stupid show. I don't watch TV very much, but I know that "Friends" came on Thursday. I know that "Sex and the City" came on Sunday. I know "24" comes on Monday.

I've seen billboards, etc. for every flipping show in the world, but I have yet to see *one* ad for this one. Am I just missing them?

I had an inkling that it *may* have been on Sunday...I was thinking 9 or 9:30, I think I even flipped over there once at one of those times...

8:30. Cool. Thanks!
