Some yahoo thought he'd be cute and combine "congratulations" and "graduation" in the same word. Instead of having to say, for example, "Congratulations on your graduation!" all one has to say is "Congradulations!"
It drives me out of my ever-lovin' tree. It grates on my nerves like the squeal of a stainless steel knife across a glass plate.

One afternoon in May, I unlocked the office and walked up to the layout board, only to find this headline staring me in the face:
CONGRADULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 1986!
I taped a note above it that read, "Congra(T)ulations, goddammit!"
Thankfully, the editor corrected the misatke before that issue went to press. Which was more than she had managed earlier that year, when she wrote an article about the feminist movement titled, NOT THEIR YET. :spank:
